About Marie Holive
Marie brings two decades of experience as an inspirational leader and successful executive to her practice. In her former roles, she delivered the digital transformation of a global business, successfully led culture change, and drove double-digit profit growth. Skilled at identifying people’s strengths and matching them with the needs of the business, she again and again created a shared vision and inspired her team to achieve it.
Marie’s unique background spanning engineering, CFO/audit & CEO roles, and her extensive experience in global industrial and media markets allow her to understand deeply, and in a multi-dimensional way, how businesses work in this digital age. Hence, she can support her clients in successfully navigating through the dynamics of complex organizations within swiftly-transforming industries in today’s global marketplace.
As Senior Advisor and Executive coach, Marie supports clients in clarifying their aspirations, identifying obstacles and inspiring them to discover new ways to achieve success. Great at listening and building rapport, she tailors her approach to her clients’ objectives, situation, values and challenges. She is especially committed to helping leaders embrace change and be future-ready while crafting and executing against a vision that truly inspires them and their teams.
As Independent Board Member, she provides independent oversight and constructive challenge to the board, bringing broad strategic, financial and operational expertise in the areas of digital transformation, commercial planning and consumer product distribution.
Marie began her career at McKinsey & Company, then joined General Electric, where she was fast-tracked through a variety of operational and audit roles roles in GE businesses all over the world. She moved to NBCUniversal, where she ultimately became Divisional CEO of International Networks, overseeing a business of $0.7Bn in sales and 750 employees.
Marie has lived in Europe, North and South America, Asia and the Middle East, and speaks English, French, Italian and Portuguese. She holds an MSc from the Ecole Centrale de Lyon, and MBAs from both Columbia and the London Business School. She is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) and is accredited by the International Coach Federation. In addition to her own practice (Marie Holive LTD), she works at London Business School as MBA coach, at Proteus International as Senior Advisor and at Safetyn as NED.
